International Cinematographers Guild
Wolcott transformed a utilitarian radio station structure with no distinct design profile into a bold architectural statement to reflect the creative posture of its client, the International Cinematographers Guild. The 14,000 sq. ft. project included a major interior make-over and exterior renovations resulting in an extensive redesign. Innovative interior and exterior lighting gives the building an array of dramatic looks through the day and night.
Wolcott’s design plan established a contemporary identity for the building, and its client, by introducing new materials, textures and palette colors to the area. The new facility energizes the tenant space and the streetscape. Subsequently, neighboring buildings have been undergoing renovation, clearly following the vision initiated by the ICG architecture.
