Mellon Bank
For Mellon Bank, the Wolcott designers needed to find a way to create a simple contemporary design for Mellon’s new 27th floor office space within a fairly limited budget. The Wolcott team accomplished this by using the richest materials in the more public spaces, namely the reception area and conference room. Ceiling elements and crisp finishes create an inviting and impressive space that is innately functional while also maximizing the impact of the spectacular view. Less costly materials were used in the back of house areas, but with visionary application, Wolcott achieved a consistent aesthetic throughout the space.
