Live Nation Entertainment
Anchoring the west end of the Hollywood redevelopment area, home to the Hollywood & Highland retail complex and the Kodak Theater (home of the Academy Awards), Live Nation chose to occupy a signature tower at 7060 Hollywood Boulevard. The former medical office building was given a complete ‘facelift’. The fully demolished floors were redesigned by the WAI team to maximize views of the Hollywood Hills to the north and LA city to the south. The extensive use of glass fronts on the offices serves to maximize natural light. The design team incorporated graphics throughout the space to express the client’s business and energize the rather contemporary aesthetic. Film was applied to the glass office fronts for semi-privacy; the image being a bar code that spells ‘Live Nation’. Careful planning with consultants helped organize the mechanical systems and maintain openness within the limited 10’-6’’height. A simple color palette of red and white dominates the space to reinforce the Live Nation brand.
